Inside: Stereoping (Electronic Beats TV)
In this new series from Electronic Beats TV, we seek to introduce some of the lesser-known but innovative little companies. First up is Stereoping, a one-man company that developed hardware MIDI controllers with optimized firmware for classic analogue synths that lack elaborate surface control, such as the Oberheim Matrix 6R/1000, the Roland Alpha Juno series, the Yamaha TX81Z, and Korg-DW8000. These controllers deal with SysEx MIDI data and allow users to edit these “difficult” synths through a tangible and effective interface in real time. They also act as controller change data translators.
