The multifaceted Irish artist Calibre is up next on our Electronic Beats TV B-Sides series. Belfast born Dominick Martin has spent the past three decades making his mark on the creative industry in many forms, as a producer, DJ, multi-instrumentalist, singer, painter and writer. Praised as one of the finest purveyors and a pioneer of the liquid leaning drum & bass genre, while also sonically journeying into dub, techno, house, ambient, jazz, soul, blues and folk with his productions. The twenty four albums in his back catalogue, among many other releases which have found a home on Hospital, V Recordings and his own Signature imprint stand as a striking sign of his creative dynamism and prolificacy. Beyond this musical output, Calibre is also known for his award winning DJ sets, which often see him traversing through a range of genres and textures during extended 6+ hour sets.
